So Thankful to have a wonderful family of Volunteers from the DMV who came together in good spirit to support the troops deployed with the Soldiers Angels - Holiday Stockings for Heroes - sending holiday stockings to spread some cheer this season!

WONDERFUL TIMES IN 2017 - CARING ON PURPOSE
Thanksgiving Dinner Celebration 2017 with Sasha Bruce's Olaiya’s Cradle Youth Program, along with CEO Deborah Shore, Program Director Christian Howard, her staff and DC Police Commander David Taylor and officers of the Sixth District. Olyaiya's Cradle is a supportive, independent living program for young mothers ages 18-21 and their children, for up to 18 months. Many thanks to USA National Miss Maryland Jr. Teen Brielle Simmons and District of Columbia's 2017 American Teenager Jr. Teen Vanessa Ridout and PreTeen Jade Ridout for joining in our efforts.

Summer 2018
Continuing our support of Olaiya's Cradle! A special thanks to our USA National Miss Maryland Taylor Williams for leading the residents and GIRLS volunteers in a morning focused on health and fitness along with our Jr. Princess Zuri Slaughter. Miss Southern Maryland's Outstanding Teen Kennedy Williams joined in the events providing yoga mats and other healthy items for each of the young ladies and also joined in taking the babies on a stroll while the moms worked out! Giving Inspiring Reaching Leading and Serving is what we do! #caringonpurpose (Summer 2018)
